The four individuals were employees of Gazprombank’s Swiss subsidiary, and include its chief executive, Roman Abdulin. According to an indictment — a copy of which was provided to the Financial Times by a court in Zurich — the bankers were criminally negligent in allowing accounts to be opened in Switzerland on behalf of Sergei Roldugin, a cellist and the godfather to Putin’s daughter, without questioning the origin of the funds flowing through them. “It is notorious that Russian President Putin officially has an income of just over SFr100,000 and is not wealthy

How Taxpayer Funds Are Flowing to a Group Bankrolling Anti-Netanyahu Protests

Hesam Seyed Mousavi, March 6, 2023 The U.S. government has been funneling taxpayer money to the left-wing group bankrolling protests against Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu, according to Israeli funding documents reviewed by the Washington Free Beacon.   Adam Kredo    March 6, 2023    The documents indicate that, since 2020, Foggy Bottom has sent over $38,000 to the Movement for Quality Government (MQG), the Israeli nonprofit stoking nationwide anti-Netanyahu protests that have seen protesters clash with police and target Netanyahu’s family members. MQG is seeking to takedown Netanyahu’s government over his support for major reforms to the Israeli supreme court that would significantly limit its power. The organization petitioned Israel’s Supreme Court earlier this year to oust Netanyahu, claiming he is unfit for office due to ongoing investigations into allegations of political corruption and bribery. The State Department, which confirmed the funding, calls the group a nonp

Hesam Seyed Mousavi, April 11, 2022 Since 1965, when the French first started electing their head of state by popular vote, no sitting president had been re-elected while keeping a majority in parliament. François Mitterrand and Jacques Chirac each won a second term but had their wings clipped by an opposition government. Two weeks ago, Macron had high hopes that he would be the first to overcome this challenge, with the involuntary help of an unlikely ally: Vladimir Putin.   The threat of an invasion of Ukraine, then the war itself, thrust the French president into a frantic global diplomacy effort. While the other 11 candidates in the two-round presidential election struggled to divert voters’ attention away from the tragic news in eastern Europe, Macron, ever the statesman, spent his time with his G7 and Nato partners. The media were duly briefed on his calls with Moscow and Kyiv. For him, there was no need to campaign. The only campaign that se

The computer was dropped off at a repair shop in Biden’s home state of Delaware in April 2019, according to the store’s owner.   Other material extracted from the computer includes a raunchy, 12-minute video that appears to show Hunter, who’s admitted struggling with addiction problems , smoking crack while engaged in a sex act with an unidentified woman, as well as numerous other sexually explicit images. The customer who brought in the water-damaged MacBook Pro for repair never paid for the service or retrieved it or a hard drive on which its contents were stored, according to the shop owner, who said he tried repeatedly to contact the client. The shop owner couldn’t positively identify the customer as Hunter Biden, but said the laptop bore a sticker from the Beau Biden Foundation, named after Hunter’s late brother and former Delaware attorney general. Photos of a Delaware federal subpoena given to The Post show that

Hesam Seyed Mousavi, October 15, 2020 Hunter Biden pursued lucrative deals involving China’s largest private energy company — including one that he said would be “interesting for me and my family,”  One email sent to Biden on May 13, 2017, with the subject line “Expectations,” included details of “remuneration packages” for six people involved in an unspecified business venture.   Biden was identified as “Chair / Vice Chair depending on agreement with CEFC,” an apparent reference to the former Shanghai-based conglomerate CEFC China Energy Co. His pay was pegged at “850” and the email also noted that “Hunter has some office expectations he will elaborate.” In addition, the email outlined a “provisional agreement” under which 80 percent of the “equity,” or shares in the new company, would be split equally among four people whose initials correspond to the sender and three recipients, with “H” apparently referring to Biden.   Another email — sent by Biden as part of an Aug. 2,
